I've come to an impass.ĭo I disregard my VO's ruling and play my character as intended, with fear of reprisal or simply accept their ruling. With my Searchfu being strong due to the excess of threads available has revealed to me that many of the forums suggest that "yes" it does stack. Wayang Spellhunter) count as numerical bonuses 'doubled' by the Spell Perfection feat. Now, I wasn't offended but it made me think. Im curious whether wiser heads than mine think the metamagic reduction effect of Magical Knack or Metamagic Master (A.K.A. I was slightly confused by the OP for a bit because not only did they say it was a feat (feats traits), they even got the fake name wrong. It's the d20pfsrd's made-up name for the Wayang Spellhunter trait. Empowered with this knowledge, I simply state what I was told and was dismissed by the masses. Additionally, 'metamagic master' doesn't even exist. Several months later have passed and a day or so ago. This increases in uses by one every 4 levels after this, so 2/day at level 7. Id like to keep the cold theme of the character intact if at all possible. As a note a sorcerer with the arcane bloodline can gets metamagic adept at level 3, allowing them to apply a metamagic feat to a spell without increasing the casting time 1/day. But my other trait is spoken for - Hermean Paragon (+2 trait bonus to Initiative) for flavor reasons. Of course, theres always the classic Wayang Spellhunter + Magical Lineage for the Arcane Mark cantrip. Nothing like preventing half the battlefield from taking actions. I begrudgingly accepted this and redistributed a trait elsewhere. Im aware of Metamagic Master (Wayang Spellhunter). With Wayang Spellhunter and Magical Lineage thatd be a level 3 spell. During the last day of a local Con, I was told by both my VO's, whom are both equally wise and intelligent (a four and five star), have claimed that they do not stack for the purpose of falling into that area of "does the exact same thing in the end". I intended to use both ML&WSPH for the purpose of reducing my (PFS) characters final cost of a Fireball with metamagics. I didn't feel right starting a new one to reiterate the same question because I was debating all day whether or not to make this post. Other than Heighten Spell, no metamagic feat changes a spell’s level, only the slot it requires. Benefit: When you use the chosen spell with a metamagic feat, it uses up a spell slot one level lower than it normally would. As much as I hate having to necro a thread. Your ability to alter your spell of choice is greater than expected.
